20/10/2026

On October 20, AVPHARM expert Natalia Brynzyniyuk spoke at the webinar “Pharmacovigilance for Veterinarians: What Every Specialist Should Know,” organized by the National Veterinary Chamber for veterinary professionals working with small companion animals.

The expert explained how international companies operating in the Russian market organize the collection and processing of information on the safety of veterinary medicinal products in accordance with applicable legislation.

Particular attention was paid to the quality of reports. In addition to suspected adverse reactions (SARs), manufacturers should receive reports of suspected lack of expected efficacy (SLEE), medication errors (MEs), product quality complaints (PQCs), and other events. The expert explained the minimum validity criteria for such reports and emphasized that information on adverse events (AEs) is important for pharmacovigilance even when a causal relationship with the use of the product has not been established.
